Electrician – Virginia Beach, VA

We are currently seeking local Electricians to work on commercial electrical construction projects in Virginia Beach, VA. This is a temporary position for a local project expected to last 4-9 months. Pay ranges from $25.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience and state electrical license. Responsibilities: * Apply advanced knowledge of electrical theory and NEC code * Perform NEC calculations * Execute all types of conduit bends using various bender types * Install raceways, boxes, cables, panels, breakers, and transformers * Assist with wire pulling and switchboard installation * Install light fixtures, devices, and cover plates * Connect branch circuits including terminations and equipment * Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems * Read and interpret blueprints and schematics * Maintain basic knowledge of control systems and components * Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements: * High school diploma or GED * 4,000+ hours of electrician experience * Current state Electrical Apprentice license (per state requirements) * OSHA 10 certification * Ability to pass a criminal background check Job Type: * Temporary * Temporary - Full Time
