We’re looking for a licensed Journeyman Electrician with residential solar experience to join our growing solar operations team. If you know your way around service panels, micro-generation installs, and clean, code-compliant work, keep reading.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Installing and commissioning residential solar PV systems
• Main panel upgrades, sub-panels, breakers, and tie-ins
• Working with micro-inverters, optimizers, and AC/DC wiring
• Ensuring all work meets CEC, utility, and municipal requirements
• Coordinating with installers, project managers, and inspectors
• Troubleshooting and resolving electrical deficiencies when needed
What We’re Looking For
• Valid Journeyman Electrician ticket (required)
• Hands-on residential solar experience (required)
• Strong understanding of micro-generation systems and net-metering
• Comfortable working on rooftops and electrical panels
• Clean, organized, and professional work habits
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have (but not required)
• Experience with APsystems, Enphase, or SolarEdge
• Service upgrade and troubleshooting experience
• Prior inspection or commissioning experience
