About Our Client Our client is a fast-paced food processing facility in Vancouver, specializing in meat products. They are looking for Warehouse Workers / Forklift Operators to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The facility relies on a team-oriented environment to support warehouse and production operations, with a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and reliability. The workplace operates inside a cooler and freezer, requiring candidates to be comfortable working in cold conditions. Details • Pay Rate: $21 to $22 per hour • Start Date: ASAP • Certification Required: Class 1 Forklift – Stand-up Counterbalance Electric Forklift • Shift: 5:00 PM to ~2:30/3:00 AM (Sunday to Thursday) Responsibilities • Operate a Class 1 stand-up counterbalance electric forklift safely and efficiently in cooler and freezer environments • Assist with general warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, packing, and organizing products • Support daily workflow to ensure production and shipping schedules are met • Follow all safety protocols and company policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment • Collaborate effectively with team members and follow instructions from supervisors • Perform additional warehouse-related tasks as needed to support day-to-day operations Qualifications • Valid Class 1 forklift certification (stand-up counterbalance electric) with proven operating experience • Ability to work in cold environments and tolerate freezer conditions • Strong teamwork and communication skills • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately • Flexibility to work night shifts, weekdays, and weekends • Immediate availability to start Additional Notes • Freezer jackets and gloves are provided on-site • Maximum freezer exposure temperature: -20°C How to Apply All applicants must have legal permission to work in Canada and require a valid Work Permit and Social Insurance Number.
