Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, experience with industrial and construction environments, and proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse electrical systems, including low voltage and programmable logic controllers, ensuring safety and compliance standards are met.
Duties
• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to install and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Perform maintenance and repairs on industrial electrical equipment and wiring
• Install wiring for new construction, renovation, or upgrade projects in commercial or industrial settings
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment to complete tasks efficiently
• Work with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure proper operation of automation systems
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
• Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure
• Follow all safety protocols to prevent hazards during installation or repair activities
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians, contractors, or handyman teams as needed
Experience
• Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or construction environments
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical codes
• Hands-on experience with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
• Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and work independently or as part of a team
• Demonstrated understanding of safety standards related to electrical work

Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
