Forklift Operator Location: Atlanta (Fulton Industrial area) Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Pay: $18/hr A premier manufacturer of high-performance and industrial tires is seeking a precision-focused Forklift Operator to join their state-of-the-art distribution center. This is a high-volume environment where safety and efficiency are top priorities. Key Responsibilities • Material Movement: Operate heavy-duty forklifts to transport large-scale industrial and passenger tires. • Loading & Unloading: Safely load outbound trailers and unload inbound shipments, ensuring weight distribution is balanced for tire stacks. • Inventory Control: Utilize RF scanners to track product movement and maintain 100% inventory accuracy. • Safety & Maintenance: Perform daily equipment inspections and adhere to strict OSHA warehouse safety standards. • Order Picking: Accurately pull tire sets based on digital pick-slips to meet tight shipping deadlines. Requirements & Qualifications • Experience: 2+ years of experience operating a forklift in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing setting. • Certification: Valid Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant) is required. • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. • Technical Skills: Proficiency with RF handheld scanners and basic digital inventory systems. • Precision: High spatial awareness for navigating narrow aisles and stacking large, heavy products securely.
