POSITION PURPOSE: This position is responsible for lying out, fitting, and welding fabricated components to assemble structural forms, such as frames or cabinets according to job specifications. This position selects equipment, plans layout, assembly, welds, applying knowledge of geometry, physical properties of metal machining weld shrinkage, and welding techniques.
