Position Summary The Licensed Electrician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining residential electrical systems while delivering exceptional customer service. This position requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to clearly communicate solutions to homeowners, and a commitment to performing work safely and in compliance with all applicable electrical codes. The Licensed Electrician represents the company in customers’ homes and is expected to maintain a professional appearance, communicate clearly, and provide honest recommendations that meet the customer’s needs. Key Responsibilities Electrical Service & Installation Diagnose and repair residential electrical systems and components Install electrical systems including wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, panels, and other components Perform electrical panel upgrades, circuit installations, and code corrections Install electrical equipment such as generators, surge protection, EV chargers, and other electrical devices Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and provide effective solutions Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations Customer Service Clearly explain electrical issues and recommended solutions to homeowners Provide accurate repair or replacement options Maintain a courteous, respectful, and professional demeanor in customers’ homes Build trust with customers through honest communication and quality workmanship Ensure customer satisfaction before leaving each job Safety & Compliance Follow all company safety procedures and electrical safety standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment Properly use personal protective equipment and safety tools Ensure installations meet code requirements and pass inspections when applicable Documentation & Communication Accurately document work performed, materials used, and recommendations Complete service tickets and job notes in the company’s field software Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and team members Maintain proper documentation for permits and inspections when required Required Qualifications Valid Electrical License as required by state and local regulations Minimum 3+ years of residential electrical service experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong communication and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in residential service environments Experience with electrical panel upgrades and service changes Generator or EV charger installation experience Experience using field service software (such as ServiceTitan) Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work in confined spaces, attics, crawlspaces, and ladders Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb for extended periods Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions Work Schedule Full-time position May include evenings, weekends, or on-call rotation depending on business needs What We Expect Professional appearance and attitude Commitment to safety and quality workmanship Respect for customers’ homes and property Reliable attendance and punctuality Team-oriented mindset What We Offer Competitive pay Health insurance Dental and Vision Life insurance Retirement with company match Ongoing training and development Opportunities for advancement Supportive team environment Location Stillwater, Oklahoma Department Electric Employment Type Full-Time Minimum Experience Experienced
