We specialize in new construction builds and the maintenance, repair and installation of electrical systems in accordance with current electrical codes and customer specifications. We promote working safely and efficiently, with a keen eye on keeping customer’s equipment running well. • *Role**: - Cut, thread, bend, assemble, and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fittings - Pull wire and cable through conduits, position, maintain and install distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breaker panels, and fuse enclosures, install single and multi-wire cables above and underground, install data cabling, and install and maintain fiber optic and signaling systems - Work in the full range of environmental conditions: including outside in all weather - Perform well with mechanical ability and a thorough knowledge of the principles of electricity, circuitry, and power distribution systems, and familiarity with the materials and techniques of constructionSafely troubleshoot repairs logically and efficiently • *Who are you?** - Minimum of 2 years of trade experience (apprenticeship included) - Knowledge of Nova Scotia Electrical Safety Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and all other applicable legislation required - Building Automation Controls experience - Fire Alarm experience - Experience in Class 1 Division 1 - Self-motivated, and willing to learn - Work well independently and be a team player - Good writing and verbal communication skills - Excellent interpersonal relationship skillsValid Driver’s License Location: Halifax and greater Nova Scotia area
