The Role: Humboldt Electric is seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our dynamic field team and support critical water infrastructure projects, including treatment plants, pump stations, and distribution systems. In this Role, you will: · Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in water treatment plants, pump stations, and related infrastructure. · Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications. · Work with control systems, PLCs, and instrumentation related to water treatment and distribution. · Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues to ensure system reliability. · Follow all safety protocols and electrical codes (CEC, local regulations). · Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently. · Perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems. What you will bring: · Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certification (Red Seal preferred) · Minimum 3+ years of experience in water infrastructure electrical work · Strong knowledge of motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, and SCADA systems · Ability to work safely in confined spaces and follow site safety protocols · Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills · Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed Humboldt Electric Offers: · Comprehensive benefits package which includes, health, vision, dental, long term disability, AD&D, life insurance, and travel insurance. · Employer paid DPSP program that increases with years of service with the company · Employee RRSP program (optional) · Employee Family Assistance Plan · Overtime eligibility · Annual company events · Profit sharing Location: Saskatoon based; travel is required throughout Saskatchewan and Manitoba Work Contract: Full-Time Pay: $40.25-$52.25 per hour Req ID: HEL202623 Posting Date: March 5, 2026 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40.25-$52.25 per hour Work Location: In person
