Responsibilities
• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise work.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively and safely.
• Conduct troubleshooting to identify issues with machinery or infrastructure and implement effective solutions.
• Assist with assembly of components and systems according to specifications.
• Engage in heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining proper ergonomic practices.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
• Collaborate with team members on complex projects requiring technical expertise and coordination.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used for each project.
Experience
• Proven experience as a Journeyperson or in a similar skilled trade role within construction, maintenance, or industrial settings.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, welding, schematics, and blueprint reading.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
• Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations related to construction tasks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.
• Experience working with schematics and technical drawings to execute precise work.
