Job Summary We are seeking an experienced welder to specialize in the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of commercial holiday outdoor decorations. Welders are responsible for joining metal parts and filling holes of metal components by using various welding techniques. As a welder, you will ensure the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of our decorative products, contributing to our high-quality standards. Skills/Experience Requirements Ability to safely use 4 ½ grinders with flapper wheels and wire wheels Knowledge of MIG welding in both steel and aluminum Ability to select appropriate welding rods and metals based on the welding specifications Familiarity with different welding techniques and equipment Knowledge of how to prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and cutting to ensure proper welds Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions Ability to collaborate with other team members Ability to communicate effectively with others Welding certification or apprenticeship preferred Welding experience required Knowledge of aluminum welding Preferred Metal shop experience required Programming experience a plus Comfortable working in various conditions, including both hot and cold temperatures Benefits Paid time off Paid holidays Medical Dental Vision 401(k) match
