Journeymen & Electrical Apprentices

Trimen Electric Ltd. has been in business since 2000 performing quality electrical projects within Calgary and the surrounding areas. We are currently seeking Journeypersons and Apprentices of all levels for immediate hire on commercial projects throughout Calgary and surrounding areas. We are looking for motivated individuals for full-time employment to join our team. Responsibilities: • Read and interpret drawings, schematic diagrams and electrical specifications • Installing a large range of electrical equipment and devices • Installation of conduit and ability to pull wire through conduits • Installation and testing of various different electrical systems • Perform tasks with minimal supervision in accordance with Trimen Electric’s policies and procedures • Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies along with all government legislation/regulations • Working outdoors when required • Working at heights on lifts and ladders Skills: • Ability to show up to work on time everyday • Familiarity with basic hand tools and some power tools • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude • Problem solving and critical thinking skills • Ability to learn on the job and be receptive to training • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment • Ability to take direction from others and follow instructions • Be a team player with the ability to work independently • Must be able to prioritize workloads using planning and time management skills to adhere to strict deadlines Requirements: • Driver’s license and reliable vehicle • Basic electrical hand tools are required • Work Boots • Previous electrical experience is preferred • Registered as an Electrical Apprentice (New apprentices will be indentured with Trimen Electric) Benefits: • Open Circle Benefits Plan • Dental care • Extended health care • Vision care • Company events • Training certificates provided as required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.50-$41.00 per hour + 10% holiday/vacation pay Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week Additional pay: • Overtime pay on select projects when required Schedule: • Typically Monday to Friday (7:00 AM to 3:15 PM daily) • Weekends as required Work location: In person Expected start date: ASAP Thank you in advance, however we will only contact candidates selected for an interview.
