We are currently recruiting for a Service Technician/Journeyman Electrician to
join our team in Thunder Bay, ON. If you are looking for a dynamic organization,

The selected individual will be responsible for traveling to customer locations
throughout Northern Ontario to provide maintenance and repair services for
petroleum dispensing equipment and related equipment. Strong knowledge of
repairing and troubleshooting petroleum equipment, having electrical knowledge
and expertise. TSSA and/or CPCA certified would be an asset but not required.
As a Service Technician/Journeyman, you will:
* Travel to customer locations throughout Manitoba and Northern Ontario to
perform maintenance and repair services on petroleum dispensing equipment,
car wash systems, and related machinery. Comprehensive training will be
provided.
* Install, test, and commission petroleum equipment and EV charging stations as
per regulatory requirements and manufacturer’s instructions and procedures
* Assess, diagnose, consult, source parts, and manage inventory effectively.
* Work with sub-contractors to complete project tasks for additional
disciplines as required (electrical, excavation, concrete, civil)
* Work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with
other trades and customers.
* Lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) using proper lifting techniques.
* Ensure that the company health and safety policies and procedures are
followed
* Commit to learning and completing all required safety training and apply to
daily duties.
Requirements:
* Red Seal or Journeyman as Construction Electrician
* Understanding of various EV charging standards and protocols, such as Level
1, Level 2, and DC Fast Charging (Level 3) would be considered an asset
* High energy, self-motivated and must have a positive attitude
* Must be able to work independently with little supervision
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
* Strong Customer Service Experience
* Must be mechanically inclined
* Must be a team player with the ability to multi-task
* Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
* Must be willing to travel and be prepared to work on-call and overtime
* Training will be provided
* Bilingualism is considered an asset
