Job Description
About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman or Master Plumber Foreman with strong multifamily and commercial plumbing experience to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a leader who can manage large-scale projects, coordinate multiple crews, communicate effectively with general contractors and superintendents, and ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance across all phases of construction.
You will be responsible for supervising daily onsite operations, overseeing crews and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and coordinate plumbing crews across multifamily and commercial job sites, assigning tasks and monitoring performance
• Act as the primary point of contact between Project Managers, Area Managers, HR, Safety, General Contractors, Superintendents, Inspectors, and Subcontractors
• Plan daily and weekly work activities based on project schedules, manpower, materials, and site conditions
• Adjust work plans as needed due to weather, inspections, deliveries, or staffing changes
• Order materials and coordinate deliveries to maintain workflow and schedules
• Ensure adequate staffing, equipment, and resources are available for each project phase
• Enforce safety procedures, jobsite best practices, and compliance with OSHA and local regulations
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, PPE, and adherence to company safety policies
• Maintain quality control standards and ensure installations meet code and project specifications
• Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, submittals, and scope of work documents
• Understand equipment installation requirements, system operations, and startup procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing system issues as they arise
• Manage productivity, labor efficiency, and budget awareness on assigned projects
• Resolve jobsite conflicts, delays, or miscommunications professionally and efficiently
• Provide regular job progress updates to management
• Train, mentor, and develop plumbers, apprentices, and subcontractors
• Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Abilities
• Journeyman or Master Plumber License (strongly preferred)
• Ability to run multifamily or commercial plumbing projects from start to finish
• Strong blueprint and specification reading skills
• Knowledge of commercial and multifamily plumbing systems and layouts
• Proven quality control and risk management experience
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Experience
• 3+ years of hands-on plumbing installation experience
• 1+ year in a Lead Installer or Foreman role
• Experience managing multifamily and/or commercial plumbing projects
• Experience working directly with general contractors and site superintendents (preferred)

Computer Skills
• Basic proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and other general applications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
