Forklift Operator

Job Title: Forklift Operator Location: Phoenix, AZ 85027 Pay Rate: $17–$19 per hour Hours: 2:30pm–11:00pm, Monday–Friday (30-minute lunch; overtime and Saturday work possible) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team for order picking and stocking in a racking system, where all items have a primary location. This position involves using a swing reach sit-down forklift that operates both inside and outside of racking aisles. Candidates must have specialist forklift experience and be comfortable with stand-up reach equipment. About 25% of your shift will involve operating the forklift, typically at the beginning, end, or during breaks. You’ll be moving pallets weighing several hundred pounds each. Responsibilities: • Order picking and stocking materials. • Operate swing reach sit-down forklift and stand-up reach equipment. • Move, stack, and organize pallets within the racking system. • Ensure safe material handling and placement. • Comply with company safety policies and wear steel-toed boots at all times. • Assist with other warehouse duties as needed. • Opportunities for overtime: arrive early, stay late, or occasionally work Saturdays. Qualifications: • 1–2 years of forklift experience required. • Proficient and “forklift savvy” with both sit-down and stand-up reach models. • Able to lift and move heavy pallets. • Steel-toed boots required. • Must be dependable and able to start work immediately.
