SUMMARY CONTINUED: For the first 8 weeks, apprentices work onsite in production departments for immediate immersion into the shipyard’s working environment and activities. At the end of 8 weeks, apprentices will report to the Training Academy to begin classroom training and hands-on lessons to obtain their certifications.
