Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator

Job Summary Imperial Freight Brokers is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse operations team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on warehouse experience, be forklift certified, and thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment. Experience with bonded warehouses, CBP regulations, and Magaya is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities • Operate forklifts (standard Yale and stand up Crown) and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently • Load, unload, move, stack, and stage freight within the warehouse • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against documentation • Pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments accurately and on time • Maintain accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and operational standards • Assist with general warehouse duties such as labeling, palletizing, inventory management, fulfillment and housekeeping • Support bonded warehouse operations and compliance procedures when required Required Qualifications • Prior warehouse experience • Valid forklift certification • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Bilingual in Spanish (speak, read, write) / English is a must Preferred Qualifications • Knowledge of bonded warehouse operations and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations • Experience using MagayaWMS (huge plus) • Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or international shipping environments What We Offer • Competitive pay based on experience • Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k with employer match, vacation time, etc. • Stable work environment • Supportive team and hands-on training • Opportunity to work in international logistics and bonded warehouse operations Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
