Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Service Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Service electrical work, with experience reading blueprints and schematics, and proficiency with both low voltage and power tools. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including renovation, construction, and automation systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Candidates must demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety standards. Duties • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints and schematics. • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and electrical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical tasks efficiently. • Perform maintenance on industrial electrical systems, including low voltage controls and PLC-based automation systems. • Conduct renovations or upgrades of existing electrical infrastructure in commercial or industrial facilities. • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards. • Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or remodeling projects to install electrical components seamlessly. • Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and troubleshooting techniques to minimize downtime. • Maintain detailed records of work performed for compliance and future reference. Experience • Proven experience as a Service electrician in industrial or commercial environments is preferred. • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and low voltage wiring systems. • Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation controls is highly desirable. • Familiarity with construction processes, renovation projects, and handyman tasks related to electrical systems. • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment required for daily operations. • Prior experience working as a Service Electrician will be advantageous. • Certification or licensing as an electrician is required.
