HVAC Senior Technician

About the Role: The HVAC Senior Technician is vital in ensuring that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems operate at peak performance and reliability. This role includes diagnosing complex HVAC issues, executing advanced repairs, and performing regular maintenance to boost system efficiency. The technician will also have the opportunity to mentor junior staff, share expertise, and promote best practices within the team. A key focus is to achieve customer satisfaction through exceptional service and prompt resolution of HVAC problems, ultimately supporting Precision Air's commitment to excellence in service delivery. Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Valid HVAC certification or license. • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC service and repair. • Valid Driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years (maximum of 2 incidents allowed). Preferred Qualifications: • Associate's degree in HVAC technology or a related field. • Experience with sophisticated HVAC control systems and energy management solutions. • EPA certification for refrigerant handling. Responsibilities: • Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant problems. • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. • Mentor and train junior technicians, guiding them on best practices and troubleshooting techniques. • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on customer systems. • Communicate effectively with customers to explain service issues and recommend solutions, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Skills: The ideal candidate will possess advanced troubleshooting skills for efficiently diagnosing complex HVAC issues.
