Industrial Electrician

Compensation Package • Wage range $50.00 to $56.00 per hour • Enrolment in the following after 90 days: o 100% Company funded Life/Dependent/AD&D Insurance, Short- & Long-Term Disability o myFlex Plan o EAP o DPSP o Wellness Days o Banked Time Duties & Responsibilities • Work in conjunction with JA Tech’s technical & construction team to perform maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, repair, specialized installation, commissioning, & start-up of low, medium, & high voltage equipment & apparatus associated with an electrical power system • Conduct work in a manner prescribed by JA Tech’s Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Manual • Comply with Electrical Code, safety standards, & other applicable legislation • Perform other duties as required Skills & Qualifications • Interprovincial Journeyperson Electrician – Red Seal • Valid Fall Protection • Valid GMSA is an asset • Strong interpersonal, communication, & problem-solving skills • Strong knowledge of drawings (wiring, schematic, & layout) • High voltage terminations and/or Fiber experience is considered an asset • Industrial Site experience • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines without supervision • Self-motivates with a pro-active attitude & ability to pitch in & do what is required • Valid Class 5 driver’s license • Willingness to travel regularly to job sites • Proficiency in the Windows environment & Microsoft Office • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
