General Labourer / Site Supervisor

In this role, you’ll support carpenters, trades, and project managers, while taking ownership of job site quality, safety, and efficiency. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone with a few years of hands-on construction experience who’s ready to take the next step toward leadership. • *Key Responsibilities**: - Assist carpenters, tradespeople, and project managers on-site. - Perform demolition, site preparation, and clean-up. - Handle and organize materials in preparation for upcoming trades. - Carry out basic framing, small drywall repairs, and other construction tasks. - Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe, respectful worksite. - Maintain site quality control and cleanliness across multiple projects. • *Qualifications**: - 3-5 years of experience in residential construction or similar general labour roles. - Strong work ethic, punctual, and a reliable team player. - Personable, detail-oriented, and able to deliver excellent customer service. - Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials and performing demanding tasks. - Own transportation to jobsites across Calgary and surrounding areas. - Own basic set of tools. - Experience with site supervision or leadership tasks is an asset. • *Why Join Us?**: - Steady, year-round work with a growing company. - Competitive pay up to $45/hr, depending on experience. - Four weeks off annually (two at Christmas, plus two weeks of vacation). - Positive, respectful team environment with supportive leadership. - Opportunity to grow into skilled trades or leadership roles. - Future potential for a Health Spending Account. • *How to Apply**: • *Additional Information** We thank all applicants for their interest in Katra Construction; however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
