Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our manufacturing team in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. The primary goal of this role is to meet customer requirements for quality, quantity, and on-time delivery while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and productivity. The Welder/Fitter is responsible for supporting production processes through fitting and adjusting parts, tack welding, and MIG welding steel components. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to read and work from engineered drawings, and a hands-on approach to inspecting and producing high-quality weldments.

Location: Reynoldsburg, OH
Shift: 1st or 2nd (Monday through Friday – 1st shift 6 am to 3:30 pm/2nd shift 3:30 pm to midnight with OT on Saturday if needed)
Salary: $25 to $30 per hour based on experience
Job description”
• Tack-welds or Mig welds components and projects in all positions
• Set up welding equipment
• Lays out, positions, and secures parts and fabricates material according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler
• Use power saws, torches, and hand plasma
• Prepares and finishes workpiece, using a portable grinder, or scraper
• Read/work to engineered drawings, blueprints and welding symbols
• Perform shop mathematical calculations
Qualifications:
• 2 plus year of welding experience
• Prior manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Technical or vocational education/training is preferred
• Must have the ability to pass a AWS D.1.1 3G vertical metal core pulse transfer weld qualification
• Must have intermediate blueprint reading knowledge
• Knowledge of machine operation, cutting, sawing, drilling, and grinding parts is desirable
• Forklifts and Overhead crane experience preferred (in-house training available)
• Candidates must be flexible to work overtime as needed
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening
• Must wear Steel Toe Shoes/Boots
• Must have your own basic tools
• Must have your own welding gear such as gloves, jackets, and sleeves supplied (can use personal equipment)
