Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to support work at a upcoming natural gas compressor station project in North Carolina. This role offers consistent overtime and the opportunity to work on a major energy infrastructure project. In this role, you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems while ensuring safety and quality standards are met on site.
Schedule: 6X10's
Pay $36.00 HR
Per Diem $100.00 per work day
Responsibilities:
• Pulling and routing LV-MV-HV cables
• Installation of conduit, cable tray and wiring, motor controls and instrumentation
• Troubleshooting electrical systems
• Maintain a high standard of quality workmanship on all tasks.
• Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures.
• Utilize appropriate hand tools (i.e., crescent wrench, pliers, klines, hammer, screwdriver) to install systems per codes and standards using drawings, schematics, and instructions.
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of electrical experience with at least 5 years in heavy industrial electrical work (WWTP, refineries, gas plants, power plants, chemical plants, nuclear facilities, manufacturing plants).
• Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
• Physically fit to meet job demands.
• Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to pass a drug screen & basic background check
• Must have your own tools
