TIG Welder/Fabricator

Responsibilities: - Perform TIG welding on various metal components and structures - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements - Set up and operate welding equipment, including TIG welders, torches, and related tools - Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to codes and standards - Use hand tools and power tools to fabricate and assemble metal parts - Solder and braze metal components as needed - Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products as required Skills: - Proficient in TIG welding techniques and processes - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication principles - Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively - Familiarity with soldering techniques for joining metal components - Knowledge of codes and standards related to welding operations - Experience operating a forklift safely and efficiently - Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication techniques - Basic machining skills for preparing metal surfaces for welding Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
