Job Description

Job Summary Industrial Power Solutions is seeking aspiring electricians to join our rapidly growing electrical company. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands on experience while working alongside some of the top talent in the state. High performing individuals will have the opportunity to enter a fully paid 4 year apprenticeship program. We are looking for individuals with electrical or construction experience who are ready to take the next step in their career and are passionate about learning the electrical trade. Key Responsibilities • Maintain positive working relationships with all members of the crew and project team. • Produce high quality work safely and productively at all times. • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. • Work alongside experienced electricians to complete projects efficiently and safely. • Follow established electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements. • Continuously learn and develop electrical knowledge and skills. • Provide feedback to ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are available for the work. • Look for opportunities to improve skills, productivity, and jobsite efficiency. • Continually seek opportunities to learn from others and grow within the trade. Minimum Job Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Must have construction or electrical experience. • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work well in a team environment. • Good communication skills. • Must have a valid driver’s license. Physical Requirements • Work up to a 10 to 12 hour shift performing physical work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions. • Ability to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 pounds. • Ability to work overhead for extended periods of time. • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the jobsite for extended periods. • Ability to wear personal protective equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and steel toed boots.
