HVAC Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our team in our Division Jackson Heating & Cooling . The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial and residential properties. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities • Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications • Perform routine maintenance on heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment to ensure efficient operation • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for system installation and repairs • Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems as needed • Utilize welding skills for system repairs or modifications when necessary • Repair or replace boilers, appliances, and other mechanical components within HVAC systems • Diagnose mechanical issues using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment • Maintain detailed service records and reports of all work performed • Adhere to safety protocols during all phases of installation and repair work Skills • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC systems, welding, boilers, and appliance repair • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately • Experience with construction or maintenance work is highly desirable • Mechanic experience with a focus on HVAC or related systems is preferred • Knowledge of safety standards related to HVAC installation and repair processes • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently • Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment • Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members • G2 minimum • Sheet metal preferred • Refrigeration (asset not required) • clean driving record and G license • pay rate based on experience, and ability This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise is valued.
