Welder/Fitter

Responsibilities For Welder/Fitter: • Perform welding on various metal components and structures • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications • Set up and operate welding equipment, including power tools and machinery • Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion • Assist with other tasks as needed, such as pipe threading, machining, or operating a press brake machine Skills For Welder/Fitter: • Proficient in mig/flux welding techniques and practices • Ability to assemble, weld, and fabricate metal components according to specifications • Knowledge of machining principles and techniques for precise measurements and cuts • Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication and forming processes • Competency in operating a forklift for material handling purposes Pay rate for Welder/Fitter is $20-$24 hr.
