JW Electrician

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring JW Electrician in Phoenix, AZ. The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety procedures, the ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams, and experience with working independently or as part of a team. Job Type: Contract Pay: $28 to $35 Per Hour BOE Licenses/Certifications Required: • Journeyman Electrician License Responsibilities: • Install, bend, and remove conduit to accommodate wiring needs. • Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. • Pull electrical wiring through conduit and connect it to circuit breakers, transformers, and outlets. • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including conduit, lighting fixtures, electrical panels, transformers, switches, and motors. • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions to minimize system downtime. • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using various testing devices to ensure safety and functionality. • Ensure all electrical work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety protocols. • Maintain a clean and safe work area while documenting completed maintenance and repair tasks. Qualifications: • Proven experience in commercial electrical installations, supported by an apprenticeship or equivalent background. • In-depth knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. • Possession of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and professional-grade hand tools. • Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Reliable transportation to commute to job sites in the Phoenix area. Physical Requirements: • Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination. • Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles safely. • Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. • Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions including extreme hot and cold temperatures. • Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring. • Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs. • Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for long periods of time. Pay Transparency: The anticipated pay range for this position is $28 to $35 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
