Austin Industrial is currently seeking a Pipefitter Foreman to join our staff
located at Pasadena, TX. This person must be experienced in crew supervision,
scheduling, equipment oversight, and ensuring safety compliance.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
* Supervise crews installing, maintaining, and repairing high-pressure piping
systems, ensuring strict adherence to safety (OSHA) and quality standards
* Manage daily work schedules, performing field take-offs, coordinating
material resources, inspecting welds/systems, and overseeing hydrotesting.
* Train personnel, manage costs, and report to superintendents.
* Manage a crew of pipefitters, assigning tasks, training personnel, and
resolving technical issues.
* Assigns workers to specific duties.
* Inspects completed processing systems to determine conformance to
specifications.

/or move up to 25 pounds and may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance
vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications:
* Knowledge of the plant and area to provide expectations to crews working on
assets.
* Good communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Experience: 5+ years of previous supervisory experience as a NCCER
Pipefitter Foreman in pipefitting and in industrial construction.
* NCCER Piping General Foreman Certification required
* Valid Driver's License required
* Valid TWIC card required
* Regular, reliable attendance
* Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written
instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
* Meet physical demands as listed above
