Seeking 1-2 Electrical Journeymen

Infinite Electrical Solutions based in North Raleigh is hiring 1-2 electrical journeymen. I am in no rush. I want to find the right fit; I am not looking for bodies, I am looking for skilled electricians. 1 role I need filled is someone that can be a lead, train, organize jobs, etc. The second role I need filled is someone that wants to become a lead but not quite there I offer above average pay, PTO, holidays paid and bonuses given. Plus a van to take home after a period. Primary work includes residential, commercial, service/troubleshooting, remodels, rewires, sauna/hot tubs. Do not replay unless you meet the following requirements: Must have basic tools (hand tools, drills, multi-tool, sawsall) Must have a valid NC drivers license Must be local to Raleigh Must have at least 4 years experience in residential AND commercial (including bending EMT) Must get along well with others Must understand the NC NEC code Must be able to do service calls efficiently, be able to troubleshoot, be respectful to customers Must be able to work in crawl spaces and attics (i.e. drill up from underneath without damaging the interior) Must be able to start within 1 week of accepting the job and agreeing to terms This is how I operate (no exceptions) - text interview on Indeed then meet in person. Job Summary (By AI) We are seeking motivated and skilled Electrical Journeymen to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across a variety of commercial and industrial projects. Your expertise will help ensure that all electrical work adheres to safety standards, building codes, including the NEC (National Electrical Code), and project specifications. Duties • Install, wire, and troubleshoot electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprints. • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and maintenance. • Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems to support automation and control functions. • Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues efficiently and accurately. • Follow safety protocols in accordance with NEC standards while working on high voltage and low voltage systems on construction sites. • Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry and handyman teams during renovation or construction projects. • Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and system modifications. • Assist in troubleshooting industrial electrician issues related to complex control panels or power distribution systems. Qualifications • Proven experience as an electrician with a strong background in industrial or commercial electrical work. • Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams confidently. • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing devices essential for electrical troubleshooting. • Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), high voltage systems, and NEC compliance standards. • Construction site experience with a focus on safety practices and efficient project execution. • Knowledge of low voltage wiring systems used in automation or security applications. • Ability to perform renovation work or adapt to different construction environments as needed. • Handyman experience or frame carpentry skills are considered a plus for versatile project support.
