Pipefitters - Port Arthur LNG - Port Arthur, TX Bechtel is seeking experienced Pipefitters for their Port Arthur LNG project in Port Arthur, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for skilled tradespeople with a strong background in industrial construction and pipefitting. Candidates will work on a major LNG facility, performing a variety of tasks related to pipe installation, layout, and testing. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and able to interpret complex drawings. Perks & Benefits • Competitive wages • Work on a major LNG project • Day shift schedule • Equal opportunity employer What You’ll Need • 5+ years of experience in industrial construction as a journeyman pipefitter • Basic rigging skills • Proficiency with small power tools (e.g., die grinder, right angle grinder) • Ability to read and comprehend piping isometric drawings • 3+ years’ experience in testing and commissioning of piping systems • Ability to plan work efficiently • Capable of weld joint preparation to meet project codes and standards • Proficient in pipe layout and threading pipe using a threading machine • Ability to read and comprehend support details/drawings • Ability to assist in lifting, positioning, and securing materials during installation • Ability to clean and perform minor maintenance on tools and equipment • Ability to safely traverse uneven terrain with tools and materials • Ability to climb vertical ladders and work from heights • Adherence to all safety procedures • Understanding of personal fall arrest systems • Ability to access scaffold What Will Make You Stand Out • Able to read piping & instrument diagrams’ (preferred)
