Salary: $75k - 85k per year Reference: JOB - 6013 Industrial Electrician - 1st Shift - Gastonia, NC • Shift: 1st shift, 7am-3:30pm • Location: Gastonia, North Carolina • Pay: $75K-$85K/year • Direct Hire Position Summary American & Efird is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support manufacturing operations through electrical troubleshooting, equipment repair, preventive maintenance, and facility support. This role requires flexibility, strong technical skills, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities • Perform industrial/manufacturing electrical troubleshooting and repair • Install new electrical equipment and machinery • Conduct general maintenance and air compressor maintenance • Assist HVAC team members as needed • Inspect, clean, and maintain: • Breakers • Disconnects • Switch gear • Maintain interior and exterior facility lighting • Operate, maintain, and repair air compressors • Inspect, maintain, and repair Xorella equipment • Perform welding and plumbing duties when necessary • Test and inspect sprinkler systems according to ADT and factory specifications • Assist with ordering maintenance parts and materials • Support facility start-ups and shutdowns • Return every other Sunday night for weekly facility start-up • Work an on-call schedule supporting a multi-shift operation • Maintain a safe, cooperative, and professional work environment • Perform duties in varying weather and temperature conditions • Complete additional duties as assigned Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of electrician experience • PLC experience is a plus • Available for 24/7 coverage if an issue will lead to plant shutdown • Industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred • Valid Driver’s License • Ability to work flexible schedules and on-call hours • Ability to successfully complete: • Drug screening • Background screening Work Environment • Fast-paced manufacturing facility • Team-oriented environment • Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions • Multi-shift operational support #LP
