Refrigeration Technician

Duties: • Diagnose, service, and repair commercial appliances, including refrigerator, electric and gas ovens, food warmers, walk-in coolers & freezers and HVAC systems • Install, inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units across multiple locations • Diagnose system issues efficiently and perform timely, high-quality repairs • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to determine system layouts and specifications • Perform general appliance repairs and preventative maintenance as required • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards • Maintain accurate service records and report on completed work and system conditions • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors when necessary to support maintenance operations Requirements & Qualifications • Proven experience as an Appliance Technician, HVAC Technician, or in a similar role • Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, warmers, ovens and electrical components, and general maintenance practices • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various Freshslice locations as needed • Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC certification, Gas Ticket, or Red Seal) are considered an asset • Experience working with Pizza prep tables is considered as an asset
