Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial electrical systems, demonstrating proficiency in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical equipment across construction and industrial environments. This role requires a strong understanding of schematics, blueprint reading, and low voltage systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. The Journeyperson Electrician will play a vital part in supporting our projects by delivering high-quality electrical work aligned with industry standards and safety regulations. Responsibilities • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components in industrial and construction settings • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring and system layouts • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical tasks efficiently and safely • Work with low voltage systems, including control wiring and communication networks • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, building codes, and industry standards during installation and maintenance activities • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate work schedules and project timelines • Document work performed accurately for record keeping and future reference • Assist in training apprentices or junior electricians as needed Qualifications • Valid Journeyperson Electrician license or certification • Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in construction electrical work • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, schematics, blueprint reading, and low voltage systems • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment • Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and implement accordingly • Experience working with construction projects or industrial facilities preferred • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • Commitment to safety practices and adherence to all relevant regulations Pay: $27.75-$52.00 per hour Work Location: In person
