HVAC Commercial Installer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems across various commercial properties, and few residential. Your expertise will ensure optimal climate control solutions that enhance comfort and energy efficiency for our clients. Responsibilities • Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and some refrigeration equipment, following detailed schematics and HVAC design plans. • Conduct system troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance to ensure peak performance of HVAC/R equipment. • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately assemble and install complex mechanical systems. • Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as refrigerant piping and drainage connections. • Use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair or replace faulty components. • Maintain detailed records of service activities, system configurations, and maintenance performed for each client site. • Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations including ammonia refrigeration safety protocols. Requirements • Proven experience in construction work with a focus on HVAC installation or service technician roles. • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance. • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents accurately. • Familiarity with refrigeration systems, ammonia refrigeration safety procedures, and HVAC/R industry standards. • Experience working with plumbing systems related to climate control units and property maintenance tasks. • Skilled in using field service tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other diagnostic devices. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Additional qualifications include experience with appliance repair, welding techniques, mechanical repairs, or property maintenance is highly desirable.
