Pipefitter/ Steamfitter

Job Title: Pipefitter Location - Edmonton Wage - up to 45/hr. Shift - Days - Mon - Fri 7am - 4pm. Job Description Typically working in pairs, you will utilize tools such as calibrated torque wrenches and hydraulic torque tools to tighten flange bolts accurately, perform initial line openings, and assemble pipes according to specifications. Responsibilities • Install and assemble pipes, tubes, and fittings according to specifications and blueprints. • Maintain and repair piping systems to ensure they function correctly and efficiently. • Fabricate pipes by cutting, threading, bending, and welding to required specifications. • Inspect piping systems for leaks, defects, and other issues, and perform necessary repairs. Essential Skills • Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills. • Experience with pumps, piping, first breaks, double blocks, and bleeds. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. • Minimum of 2 years of pipe fitting or steam fitting experience in a production or manufacturing environment. • Ticketed Journeyman or Indentured 3rd or 4th year Apprentice. Work Environment Work in a chemical environment with shifts from 7am to 4pm, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edmonton, AB.
