The Role As an HVAC Installer, you’ll be responsible for the complete installation of residential heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, from retrofits, equipment placement and refrigerant line sets to gas connections and final commissioning. You’ll be a lead installer on full replacement and new-install jobs across the Fraser Valley. What you’ll be doing day-to-day: • Install residential HVAC equipment: furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, hot water tanks, tankless water heaters, and boilers • Decommissioning and removal of old systems • Run gas lines and make gas appliance connections in compliance with BC gas codes • Complete refrigerant line sets, electrical connections, and ductwork modifications • Commission and test installed systems to manufacturer and code standards • Maintain a clean, professional job site and represent AirVantage with integrity • Coordinate with the office team on scheduling, parts, and job documentation What We Offer • $45–$55/hour based on experience and certification • Flexible Schedule • Company vehicle • Health, dental, and vision care • Extended health benefits + life insurance • RRSP matching • Paid time off • Tuition reimbursement and ongoing training • Company events and a team culture built on trust • On-site parking Requirements • Class B Gas Fitter certification (required, non-negotiable) • Valid BC Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record • 2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience • Comfortable working with gas lines, refrigerant systems, and low-voltage wiring • Strong attention to detail.
