Pipefitters - Rio Grande LNG - Day Shift - Brownsville, TX Bechtel is seeking experienced Pipefitters for their Rio Grande LNG project in Brownsville, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for those with a strong background in industrial construction and pipefitting. Candidates will work day shifts and contribute to a major LNG facility. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, skilled in pipe layout and installation, and able to work at heights and on uneven terrain. Perks & Benefits • Competitive Wages • Work on a major LNG project • Equal Opportunity Employer What You’ll Need • 5+ years of experience in industrial construction as a journeyman pipefitter • Basic rigging skills • Proficiency with small power tools (e.g., die grinder, right angle grinder) • Ability to read and comprehend piping isometric drawings • 3+ years’ experience in testing and commissioning of piping systems • Capable of weld joint preparation to meet project codes and standards • Proficient in pipe lay-out and threading pipe using a threading machine • Ability to read and comprehend support details/drawings • Ability to safely traverse uneven terrain with tools and materials • Ability to climb vertical ladders and work from heights • Adherence to all safety procedures • Understanding of personal fall arrest systems • Ability to access scaffold What Will Make You Stand Out • Able to read piping & instrument diagrams’ (preferred)
