Apprentice Electrician (2nd year)

Looking to get some commercial/ residential electrical experience? Ground Electrical is a North Edmonton electrical contractor that is locally owned and serves Edmonton and the surrounding areas. Currently we are looking for SECOND year apprentices to join our growing team. We operate weekdays only, allowing you to have time to enjoy the things you love most, and have job security and stability. Upper level apprentices also have access to a company vehicle. Key Responsibilities: • Assist journeyman electricians with installations, service calls, and construction projects • Maintain clean and safe work environments on all job sites • Help organize materials, tools, and equipment both on-site and in company vehicles • Participate in site walkthroughs, toolbox meetings, and safety protocols • Follow all safety regulations and company procedures Requirements: • 2nd Year Registered Apprentice (Alberta) • Valid Class 5 GDL driver’s license & clean drivers abstract • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders, scissor lifts, and boom lifts • Own basic tools (hand tools, cordless drill, etc.) What We Offer: • Competitive pay (based on experience and apprenticeship level) • Full health, dental, and vision benefits (single or family coverage) • Life and disability insurance • Tool discounts • Regular team-building events and a supportive team culture • No mandatory overtime—work/life balance matters here Schedule: • 8-hour day shifts • Monday to Friday • No weekends Questions?
