Commercial & Industrial Journeyman in Denver,CO
We are hiring licensed Journeyman and Master Electricians to join our commercial and industrial electrical teams supporting mission-critical construction projects in Denver, Colorado. This role is ideal for experienced electricians who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a strong background in large-scale commercial, industrial, and critical infrastructure projects.
As a Journeyman or Master Electrician, you will play a key role in electrical installation, layout, troubleshooting, inspections, and system start-ups, while helping maintain productivity, safety, and project schedules across active construction sites.
Schedule: 40-60 hours
Pay Rates:
• Journeyman Electrician: $30-$40 DOE
Key Responsibilities
• Perform electrical work on large commercial and industrial construction projects, including hospitals, universities, hotels, and mission-critical facilities
• Install, troubleshoot, service, and repair electrical systems on active job sites
• Support ground-up construction, tenant improvements (TIs), and build-outs
• Assist with electrical layout, conduit runs, and basic material takeoffs
• Conduct system start-ups, planned maintenance, and quality control inspections
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, diagnose technical issues, and implement solutions
• Oversee crew productivity and help maintain efficient workflow
• Ensure project schedules, milestones, and deadlines are consistently met
• Submit material, tool, and equipment requisitions as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all company, OSHA, and site-specific safety policies
Qualifications
• Active Colorado Journeyman or Master Electrician License required
• Proven experience on commercial and/or industrial electrical projects
• Experience with ground-up builds, tenant renovations, and commercial build-outs
• Knowledge of MCCs, PLCs, and VFDs preferred
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of current NEC codes and regulations
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to manage tools, materials, and workspaces efficiently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in construction environments
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and around active job sites
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and environments
