Experienced Fitter/Welder – Pipe & Structural (Shop & Field)

Job Summary Full time position for pipe and structural steel fitter/welder for both shop and field service. The role involves fitting and welding tasks on projects within the construction, manufacturing, and industrial sectors. Responsibilities • Fit-up and weld carbon and stainless steel piping and structural assemblies • Perform welding using MIG, Flux-Core (FCAW), and Stick (SMAW) processes • Layout, measure, cut, and assemble components to tight tolerances • Ensure weld quality meets project and industry standards • Work safely in shop and field conditions, including occasional overtime Qualifications • Minimum (5) years experience as a fitter/welder • Strong knowledge of pipe fitting and structural fabrication • Proficient in MIG, FCAW, and SMAW welding • Ability to read blueprints and perform accurate fit-ups • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites • Ability to pass weld test and fit-up evaluation Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Health savings account • Paid time off Experience: • fitting and welding: 5 years (Required) License/Certification: • Driver's license (Required) Ability to Commute: • Houston, TX 77012 (Required) Work Location: In person
