4th Year or Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled 4th Year or Journeyman Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting electrical systems across a variety of commercial and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure safe and reliable electrical operations while adhering to all safety standards and electrical codes. Duties • Install, wire, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial and renovation settings using schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of systems. • Use hand tools, power tools, and other testing equipment to diagnose issues and verify system integrity. • Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for all installations and repairs to ensure compliance with safety regulations. • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems on construction sites or renovation projects, identifying potential hazards or code violations. • Collaborate with other trades during construction or renovation projects for integration of electrical components. • Maintain records of work performed. • Ensure all work is performed safely while adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Skills • Proven experience as a commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems. • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing devices essential for troubleshooting. • Familiarity with NEC standards for safe electrical installations. • Construction site experience with the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments. • Strong problem-solving skills combined with hands-on experience when needed on-site. • Collaborating with team members and interpreting technical schematics effectively. • Valid Colorado driver's license and clean MVR required. • Must possess your own basic hand tools. • Good work ethic and professional attitude are necessary. • Must be reliable, and know how to take the initiative and work safely.
