Responsibilities • Work as part of our maintenance team to perform a variety of welding tasks and projects • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately • Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and measuring devices such as micrometers to ensure precise fabrication • Assemble components according to specifications, ensuring proper fit and finish • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures • Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues related to welding equipment or fabrication processes Experience • Fully qualified journeyman/women welder • Proven experience in welding within an industrial manufacturing setting • Fluency in spoken and written English • Legally entitled to work in Canada • Knowledge of Food Safety Requirements is an asset • Mechanical knowledge of various types of industrial machinery • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks • Knowledge of safety standards related to welding and manufacturing environments Pay: $47.65 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: • Company pension • Dental care • Employee assistance program • Extended health care • Life insurance • Paid time off • RRSP match • Vision care Work Location: In person
