Plumbing and Heating Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Supervisor to oversee plumbing and heating installation for new multifamily construction. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, leadership abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems, HVAC, boilers, and schematics. Previous supervision experience is critical to this role and a Journeyman certificate in plumbing and gas is a must have Duties • Supervise and coordinate daily plumbing activities, including installation, of all plumbing and heating systems within the project. • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards. • Manage work schedules, assign tasks to team members, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines. • Conduct safety meetings. • Collaborate with construction staff for the GC or owner to ensure plumbing and heating systems have the coordination they need to be successful • Order supplies and parts necessary for ongoing projects while managing inventory levels. Experience • Proven experience in plumbing with a strong background in mechanical systems such as boilers, HVAC units, and appliance repair. • Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising technical teams within construction or maintenance environments. • Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings related to plumbing and mechanical systems. • Prior experience working with construction projects or large-scale facilities is preferred. • Mechanical experience or background in Multifamily new construction involving HVAC or boiler systems is highly desirable. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team in new Plumbing and Heating installations in a variety of buildings, for some amazing clients.
