Job Description: Electrical Foreman (Trade Foreman – Electrical)
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Compensation: $40.00 – $47.00 per hour + overtime + full benefits
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead field operations and bridge the gap between project design and execution. This individual will oversee a team of electricians, ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with NEC standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a skilled trades professional who takes pride in mentoring crews, solving complex challenges, and delivering high-quality electrical systems in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership & Execution
• Lead, supervise, and coordinate daily activities of electrical crews
• Translate project drawings and schematics into accurate field installation
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within scope
Planning & Coordination
• Assist in developing production schedules and sequencing of work
• Coordinate labor, materials, tools, and equipment for project success
• Estimate remaining work hours and support job progress tracking
Safety & Quality
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce all safety protocols
• Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and NFPA 70E standards
• Establish and uphold quality control standards on-site
Team Development
• Mentor and develop electricians and leadmen
• Assist with performance evaluations and crew development
• Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture
Project Support
• Complete daily reports and job logs
• Support conflict resolution and maintain strong working relationships
• Interface with project leadership and stakeholders as needed
Qualifications
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years of electrical construction experience, with leadership responsibility
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
• Proven experience managing crews and coordinating field activities
• Familiarity with construction tools, equipment, and materials
• Experience using Bluebeam preferred
• OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E training preferred
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including adverse conditions
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and on active job sites
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical trade-related tasks
