Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Warehouse Worker Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced distribution team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations. Responsibilities
• Safely operate various types of forklifts, including reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, and load & unload equipment to move materials within the warehouse.
• Perform order picking using electric or manual pallet jacks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in fulfilling customer orders.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods, and preparing items for dispatch.
• Maintain proper inventory levels through accurate data entry into the warehouse management system (WMS) and conducting regular stock counts.
• Conduct routine equipment repairs or report mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure safety compliance.
• Support warehouse distribution processes by organizing materials handling activities efficiently while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors on daily operations, including load planning and process improvements for increased productivity.
Skills
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, and Hi-Lo machinery with proper certification.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picker technology for efficient inventory control.
• Mechanical aptitude with basic repair skills for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Excellent understanding of materials handling procedures, shipping & receiving protocols, and warehouse distribution practices.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomic techniques.
• Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry accuracy.

Pay: $21.00 - $21.50 per hour
