Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding, and have experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments. Responsibilities
• Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding on a variety of metal materials such as sheet metal, ductwork, and structural components
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality standards
• Operate fabrication equipment including press brake machines, plasma cutters,
• Conduct rigging and mechanical setup for welding operations involving cranes or forklifts
• Follow ASME codes & standards to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations
• Assist in fabrication tasks such as assembly, machining, soldering, or mechanical modifications as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and using appropriate personal protective equipment
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while ensuring high-quality workmanship
Requirements
• Proven experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments involving metal fabrication
• Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, and welding techniques
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and schematics for measurement and assembly tasks
• Knowledge of fabrication processes including sheet metal work, ductwork installation, pipe threading, and assembly
• Mechanical knowledge related to rigging operations using cranes or forklifts
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential to fabrication tasks
• Experience with schematics interpretation and blueprint reading for complex assemblies
• Ability to operate machining equipment such as press brakes or plasma cutters safely
• Strong understanding of ASME codes & standards applicable to welding practices
• Effective communication skills within team environments focused on safety and quality
