Commercial Refrigeration/HVAC technician

Job Overview **Candidate MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 5-10 YEARS OF COMMERCIAL HVAC/R EXPERIENCE. **We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Refrigeration/HVAC Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service in maintaining, repairing, and installing refrigeration and HVAC systems across various properties. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of equipment, including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, grocery store racks, and ice machines. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a passion for ensuring optimal climate control and refrigeration performance. Responsibilities • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems, HVAC units, and related mechanical equipment in commercial and industrial settings • Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and component inspections to prevent system failures • Conduct field service visits to client sites for emergency repairs or scheduled maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime • Collaborate with property management teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety standards • Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to track system performance and repair history Skills • Extensive experience with refrigeration systems and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) • Ability to read complex schematics and HVAC design plans accurately • Proven field service experience • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards Join us if you’re eager to apply your technical expertise in a vibrant environment where your skills make a real difference!
