Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Journeyman/Journeywoman Commercial Service Plumber to join our team. This role involves providing expert plumbing services on commercial construction sites, remodeling projects, and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction plumbing, mechanical systems, and field service work, ensuring high-quality installations and repairs in a fast-paced environment. As a licensed professional, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and schematics, utilizing various tools and techniques to deliver efficient plumbing solutions that meet safety standards and client specifications.
Responsibilities
• Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications.
• Perform pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and assembly to ensure proper system functionality.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and implement effective repairs or replacements.
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work within larger building projects.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex plumbing problems efficiently.
• Assist with remodeling projects, including carpentry, HVAC integration, and general maintenance tasks.
• Operate heavy lifting equipment safely when handling large pipes or components on-site.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
• Valid Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumbing License with proven experience in commercial construction plumbing.
• Extensive knowledge of construction site procedures, blueprints reading, schematics, and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, remodeling processes, maintenance practices, and maintenance person skills is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
• Experience with construction site safety standards and protocols.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
