You'll handle a mix of residential, commercial, and solar-related work, service calls, upgrades, installations, troubleshooting, and help set the on-site standard. This is a field-forward role where professionalism matters: you'll communicate clearly with clients and mentor apprentices as part of your day-to-day. Key Responsibilities • Perform installs, repairs, upgrades, and maintenance across residential/commercial projects • Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and complete service calls professionally • Support solar system electrical work and related components as needed • Maintain high safety standards and job-site cleanliness • Communicate clearly with customers (explain problems + solutions in plain language) • Mentor apprentices and contribute to a strong, team-based field culture • Complete documentation (material counts, photos, reporting) Qualifications • Red Seal/Journeyperson Electrician certification • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills • Clean driving record (company vehicle provided) • Comfortable working at heights (required for some projects) • Solid experience across residential/commercial; solar experience is a strong asset • Professional, client-facing communication skills Pay and Benefits • Employment type: Full-time, permanent employee • Pay: CA$40 to CA$45 per hour, based on experience • Company vehicle (role-dependent/field-based) • Performance-based incentive/bonus program (teams share savings when projects beat budget targets) • Health and dental benefits (50% employer-paid) + employee assistance program • Extended health care, dental care, and company events • Potential performance incentive/bonus program tied to project efficiency • Mercedes Sprinter Work Van Why Pro West You'll join a team that cares about the finished product and the customer's experience.
